I get a big laugh when I read some of the posts mocking each other...
I have expressed my view/gameplan and even mentioned those who like can take anything out of it...
all those who are asking for donation..would you be happy if I donate a 1000$...why not make IV a paysite :D
Anyone who wants to get in have to pay at the gate :D so much for free-forum
I dont want to list here all the charities and social stuff I do just because a bunch of morons demand donation...hahaha sounds like ganesh festival donation demand :D
just know that we all do stuff in our lives oneway or other to give back to society...
And the losers who could get 15% investment and mock other who got more...please grow up...world is much bigger than your box

HI GUYS,
me and my spouse filed 1485 in july 2007 with a received date of 10/07/07.
we donot see anychanges online other than the case received and pending notice.
is there a way we can find the status of our case.if name check is cleared,any further finger printing as we only did once in 2007.ours is eb3.any input highly appreciated.

Well ...well ..well.... All this opposition tells me that I am on the right track along with all the people who support this cause.
Infact, we had seen similar opposition when we spoke against labor substitution in 2004 on immigrationcom website.
But labor substitution was stopped and DOL is currently auditing/investigating so many who used it. If you used labor substitution, you mostly should find that your I-140 is not getting adjudicated these days.
Interfiling while being the same company is totally illegal. Its tantamounts to fabricating the job requirements or asking you HR to "create a job position".
I whole heartedly support all EB3s who were qualified for EB2 when they filed their EB3 and we will keep this clause in mind when preparing the lawsuit.
Rest.. good luck.. you might even get your I-140 (or GC) approved based on PD porting ... but we will make sure that you get investigated eventually and the "incorrect decision" overturned.

The only way to get the stimulus payment is to obtain a Social Security Number for �non-work� purposes. The SSA may issue an SSN to an alien under the following provision:

(i) You need a social security number to satisfy a Federal statute or regulation that requires you to have a social security number in order to receive a Federally-funded benefit to which you have otherwise established entitlement and you reside either in or outside the U.S.;

I am not as articulate as other posters in understanding/explaining recaputre, unused visa#, loaning visa# to FP......and so on. Reading all these post,I see every one are so frustated and every one want to do some thing and let USCIS know how imp these things are...but how:confused:...IDEA!!!...."FLOWERS".... I don't know why, but my long and short sense sayss....send some more flowerss again and again....

What spillover for EB3 you are talking about? Based on how they interpreted the spillover law last year, EB3-I can't get any spillover until EB2-I and EB3-ROW is current and thats decade away.
I am just trying to get the facts. I am not against EB3-I as I myself is EB3-I and waiting for my turn since last 7 years.

I Agree with you, EB3 I will never ever be current unless there is a resolution or releaf passed by Mr Change (Obama) or his lobby, there is no light beyond this tunnel until we see some releaf which does not look getting this year atleast and may be another couple of years.
Predictions are good to just hear and watch and here predictions are like lovely dreams which will never come true unless untill any big chnage is taken place, and the only person who i have hope with to do something for EB3 I is President Obama.
But he is kind of busy with other important issues and our issue is not that important for him reason may be we are not his vote bank and will get to the curve of getting the GC when we are very close to our graves.
This is really furstating and freinds sorry to express my frustration here on this forum but i am done and just look at my PD Dec 2001 for the past 1 year i hear from my lawyer you are just the next badge and should be current in the next bulletin.
I think we should live everything aside and just do our best at work thats what i am doing and thank god for getting our bread and butter in this economy.

The movement EB-2 china gets some times is solely because of the visa number that category gets. This typically happens in the first Q. EB2-I and EB2-C will have different PD's . Some time in 2nd Q or mid 2nd Q, both I and C will have used up their quota and they will continue to have the same PD until the end of the fiscal year as PD is the only thing that matters.
the point was that they if their dates also move to june 2006, then it would be the first time they crossed the jan 2006 threshold.

Cases are being pre-adjucated, So there are RFEs and other inquiries...After this, they will wait for visa number in PD Queue....which is a good thing...This assures there will be no wastage this year....
Anycase, it looks like there will be significant forward movement...

I emailed them not as me but as my employer( point of contact mentioned in the labor petition) and it works they send me a copy of the labor approval to my house along with a copy to my employer and one to my attroney. It really works.
